Ryan Harter announces the endorsement of current Chesterfield Board of Supervisor Chair and retired Chesterfield County Police Officer, Kevin Carroll. Kevin Carroll was elected to the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors in 2019 after serving 32 years in law enforcement. Ryan Harter is the frontrunner to become the next representative from the 73rd legislative district.

Whether on the front lines as a police officer or in his tenure on the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors, he has served our community with distinction. I am proud to be supported by law enforcement across the 73rd district, and I will always be an ally to these brave men and women when in Richmond.”

Ryan Harter is the former Chairman of the Chesterfield County School Board and a United States Air Force Veteran who served for 13 years. After leaving Active Duty service, Ryan continued his service to the community by becoming a civics and economics teacher. Ryan and his wife Megan own and operate an insurance agency in Chesterfield County. They have four children, all of whom attend Chesterfield County Public Schools. Ryan and his family attend church at Clover Hill Assembly of God.
